Every member of ‘Northern Suburbs Dog Training Club’ will be deeply saddened by the news of the loss of long time Life Member and dear friend Andy Seitz who passed away, peacefully, on Sunday evening after bravely fighting a long illness.
Andy was a very caring, courteous and patient instructor of both Agility & Obedience classes for many years. After trialing his beloved Border Collies, he continued with his love of dog training by giving back to many members of the club the fun & the skills involved in training a family dog to be well mannered when out and about in KuRingGai & neighbouring areas. This, together with his great love for his wife, Judy, his children & grandchildren made up the man we knew.
As our exceptional Equipment Officer, he constructed, repaired, painted, cleaned and adapted jumps, tunnels, Ring ropes & a host more. He put up Rings at 6am, pulled them down at all hours, at both training and every Agility & Obedience Trial, continuing to turn up with a smile even when he was very unwell – so much so that we sometimes had to send him home, much to his disgust! Andy was always first to offer a hand when anything was needed for members or their dogs. He was fun, he was much loved and he was one of nature’s gentlemen who will be sorely missed but never ever forgotten by anyone fortunate enough to have known him.

Rest in peace, dear friend
