A Zoominar presented by Rachel Lawler of Seek Dogs Australia on Wednesday 14th October at 7.30pmRachel loves to do all things dog sports and performing! Rachel’s business is Seek Dogs Australia which teaches Canine Nosework, Trick Training and Foundations for Film and Tv.
Rachel is an advanced level long term instructor at Hills Dog Training Club and competes in agility and rally o with her dogs. She is also a Certified Nosework Instructor and teaches and competes in Nosework.
Rachel trains dogs who have performed in live shows, tv adverts and shows and even and few Aussie and international films. A few of her dogs who you may have seen:
Quiz the border collie x bearded collie – Face of Foxtel for 2019 campaigns, appeared in the Aussie tv series ‘Squinters’ on ABC, starred in the recent Aussie film ‘Baby teeth’, as well as a huge list of other commercial and tv appearances, even working with ‘The Veronica’s’ in an ad campaign.
Bodie the Koolie x Kelpie – Working on the tv show ‘My Secret Daughter’ with Jessica Mauboy as well as an Aussie feature film ‘Grace’, and several other commercials.
Smudge the Australian Koolie – Featured in a few ads such as Simparica flea and tick, CGU insurance and Real life insurance. Rachel also trains her other dogs, as well as handlers other animals for set work.
Rachel also set up the Trick Dogs in Australia FB page which currently has 1200 members and growing.
