Introducing Gundog Retrieving to NSDTC
Do you own a Gundog? Are you interested in retrieving?
Another fun dog sport, which brings out the inherited desire & ability to retrieve game in these high drive dogs who are a pleasure to work with in open country or bush.
Our aim is to develop in the club, a keen group of handlers who, like a number of our dogs who are already titled Gundogs, will have heaps of fun in training, then may wish to go on to trialling in the ‘Retrieving Ability Test for Gundogs’ – RATG.
Your dog needs to be able to heel off lead, come when called (very important), fetch a ball, toy or a can from the fridge etc .
So – Spaniels, Retrievers, Setters, Pointers, Weimaraners, Murray River Retrievers, Vizslas & any other dogs bred to retrieve – come along & show us what you are made of!
Interested? Please contact Bec via email: retrieving@nsdogtraining.org.au
For those interested training sessions occur Wednesday evenings commencing at 6.30pm. Sessions will go to 7.30pm so we need to be on the ball to get things going.
